But seriously, it makes the most sense to go intrinsic for most characters that want to have the game affect them more/character development. This way, depending on what circumstances befall a character after a few sessions, one can go to the Left (Paranormal) or to the Right (Technological) with any additional Headers and still be mainly Intrinsic(and be more varied in skills).

(4/6/4) respectively.
If you seriously want to use Paranormal though, I'd suggest starting as Paranormal. You can't take Specializations outside your Genre and some of the Advanced Header skills require those specializations. Advanced Read Grimoire and Advanced Use magic Item come to mind.
(It's a decision I've been wrestling with. The main Header and specialization I want are Intrinsic, but one of the Paranormal Headers fits into the character so well, I just may have to take it)
